I have tailored this app for breastfeeding families who need help navigating infant formula selection when it comes time to supplement. Even though I am a lactation consultant and HUGE breastfeeding advocate, I've learned it's difficult to find non-biased, quality information about breastmilk substitutes that is not funded by formula companies and/or individuals who profit from formula sales. Until we have excellent, long-term breastfeeding support for all moms, along with overhauled maternity leave policies that support the lactating mother-infant dyad, the reality is that tons of us end up needing to formula feed our babies at some point. And infant formulas are not all the same!
My baby formula app includes all of the following:
